French Intern Update

It's been now 6 days since the french volunteers arrived at Guria and we have loved having them! Since they have been here they have participated in drama classes, impromptu dance parties, and have helped paint another beautiful mural on the walls of the Varanasi center.

Freedom Now 2018 | Varanasi Red-Light Area Center

On February 20, 2018, Guria hosted it’s fourth annual Worldwide FREEDOM NOW Art Exchange and Exhibit. The exhibit at the Varanasi red-light area education center was a success! To date, we have had 86 schools from 15 different countries take part in Guria’s Freedom Now art campaign, and more schools using curriculum resources in their classrooms! Senior Government Officers Visit Guria's Red Light Center

National Defence College of India's 20 member team consisting of senior officers from various organs of Government including indian army and foreign countries (Australia, Kenya, S. Korea, Nepal) came on an exposure visit, last week, to the Guria children centre in the red light area of varanasi. Founder & Director Ajeet Singh gave a talk regarding the issue of sex trafficking and the successful 'end to end' model strategy of Guria. Mr Ashok K.
