In the last 3 – 4 years Guria undertook 2678 village meetings in order to prevent human trafficking in the districts of Varanasi, Mau, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Maharajganj and Mirzapur which covered 1,32,920 women and the rescued bonded labours/girls from these rural vulnerable villages. Most of them are the member of Guria’s vigilance committees formed in these districts. Village volunteers have always been the real strength of Guria and part of our strategy since the very inception.
