Dia Mirza is  an Indian model, actress and producer, who won the Miss Asia Pacific 2000 title. On 11 June, she visited  with the children of Guria boat school. She participated with the children in meditation, painting, and singing.

News about the french team from PSB Paris School of Business

For the third time we have the pleasure to welcome a french team of volunteers from PSB Paris School of Business ! They are here to bring their support to our work and continue to improve the living conditions of the children. Here is a little sum up of their actions for Guria : - Cleaning and creating theater. - Making wrist band. - Sponsoring a hand pump. - Teaching at the boat school and red light area center. - Taking the children to the water park. - Practicing different activities such as wall painting, dancing and different games

India's Minister for Women and Child Development unveiled a draft of the country's first ever comprehensive anti-human trafficking law on 30th may 2016. The minister, in her speech, also praised GURIA for its support in drafting the legislation as the member of the Inter-Ministerial committee. THANK YOU Mathew and Jennifer : On March 24, 2016, the Specks of Dust documentary produced by Azza Cohen and Shaina Waterous was shown to a group of approximately 100 guests in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As part of the event, there was a silent auction with items that were donated from many individuals and business in the community. We also had Indian snacks donated .Mathew and Jennifer were able to raise $12,500 Canadian dollars to help support Guria in its fight against human trafficking.
