Bollywood-Klezmer Concert to Support Guria!

On Sat November 19th a fantastic fusion of cultures and musical styles will take place in London at the "Bollywood Klezmer" show. This event will blend together Jazz, Klezmer, Rajasthani, Sufi and Bollywood music. It will star Begam Batool who will be performing outside of India for the first time. Guria UK would like to thank the organisers who are kindly donating 15% of ticket sales to Guria to support their vital work with vulnerable women and children in India. Update: Allahabad Rescue

The notorious Allahabad red light area rescue has a national record of 61 brothels seized.  The traffickers having previous criminal histories had filed bail applications with fake documents for re-trafficking the rescued girls but as per our holistic approach, Guria successfully got the bail applications of 12 human traffickers rejected.

Training-of-Trainers for Indo-Nepal Border Force

Last week Ajeet Singh from Guria was the resource person for the training of trainers (TOT) programme for SSB (indo-nepal border force) at sector headquarters Lakhimpur and Gorakhpur under the guidance of IG Frontier headquarter, SSB Lucknow and UNICEF.
